Advertising & affiliate disclosure
How UK Casino Guide Online earns money, what a partner can and cannot buy, and how we keep commercial arrangements out of the scoring.
The short version
Some links on this website are affiliate links. If you follow one and later register with the operator, we may be paid a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not change a score, a ranking or a written verdict.
How the arrangement works
We hold affiliate agreements with the operators featured on this website or with their marketing networks. Payment is typically a one-off fee for a qualifying registration or a share of the operator's net revenue. We are told aggregate figures only — never who you are, what you deposited or what you wagered.
What a commercial partner cannot buy
- A score, a star rating or a position in any table.
- Removal or softening of a criticism in a review.
- Inclusion of a brand that fails our licence check.
- Advance sight of an unpublished review.
- Editorial coverage disguised as an independent assessment.
How we keep it separate
Reviewers work from a fixed 68-point checklist that contains no commercial input. Commission rates are held by one person outside the editorial process and are not visible during an assessment. When a partner brand fails a check, the failure is published in the same words we would use for any other brand. If a brand loses its Great Britain licence, its review is withdrawn the same week, regardless of what it was worth to us.
How links are labelled
Every outbound operator link carries rel="sponsored nofollow", opens in a new tab,
and sits next to an 18+ notice. Every page on this website carries the disclosure line in the
footer. Reviews with a commercial relationship are not presented any differently from those
without one, because the assessment method is identical.
Advertising standards
We follow the CAP Code and the Gambling Commission's advertising rules for Great Britain. That means: nothing on this website targets under-18s or vulnerable people; we do not suggest gambling is a solution to money problems or a route to social success; we do not urgency-pressure readers; and we do not present a bonus as risk-free when wagering conditions apply.
Accuracy of offers
Operator terms, limits and available content are set by the operator and can change without notice to us. Anything shown here is indicative. The operator's own terms always take precedence. If you spot a discrepancy, email editorial@ukcasinoguideonline.co.uk and we will correct it within two working days.
